Sub.- Complaint
against the constant blaring of microphones
Sir,
Please allow me single column in your
vast esteemed daily to express my concern over/complaint/protest against the
constant blaring of microphones.
Microphones are wonderful invention of
science,
used for a large-scale announcement or campaigning. But now-a-days the use
of it has turned into a fashion. Young people go on playing the microphones
almost 24 hours on the occasion of any festival. Popular Hindi film songs are
played very loudly. The religious processions and marriage ceremonies are
impossible without the giant DJ boxes. This constant blaring is very disturbing
for children, old people, patients and the students. This loud play of
microphones does not consider the inconvenience of others. The Government has
enacted a law to restrict the loud play of the microphones at night. But there
is hardly anyone to look after the application of the law.
Under this above circumstances, I request
the favour of your kindly bringing the matter forth to the Government as well
as the public to look into this and take necessary steps to limit/lessen the unnecessary
use of the microphones.
Berhampore, Yours truly,
