Sub:- Bad condition of hospitals in
West Bengal
Sir,
Please allow me a single column in your
vast esteemed daily to express my views on the bad condition of hospitals in
West Bengal.
Now-a-days the hospitals in West Bengal are badly run. There is a lack
of good doctors in the hospitals. The number of trained nurses is scanty. There
are not enough beds for the patients. So patients have to either lie on the
floor or share beds with others. Moreover the life-giving medicines, potable
water are not available in the hospitals. Hospital rooms as well as the
compound are filthy and full of foul smell. Dogs and cats roam here and there.
And the emergency ward as well as outdoor section is not properly maintained
and patients have to wait in a long queue for their check-up. So people fear to
go to Government Hospitals for their check-up.
Under this above circumstances, I appeal
to the Government through you to look after the matter and take necessary steps
as soon as possible.

Irregular
removal of garbage in our locality

Irregular removal of garbage in our locality.
Sir,
On behalf of our locality, I, the
undersigned, beg to state that I am a bona fide citizen of Berhampore, dwelling
at address in Khagra area. I have a grievance that in our locality garbage is
not cleared regularly. And for that reason we are facing a lots of problems.
Garbage is heaped near my house for two-three days and we have a real problem
of passing that path due to the foul smell it emits. The area has become a
feasting area for the mosquitoes and flies. Some of the locals fall sick. This
gives a rise in spreading diseases like malaria, dengue etc. This problem can
be solved by regular removal of garbage, sweeping and spreading bleaching
powder.
Under this above circumstances, I
request the favour of your kindly looking after the matter and taking necessary
steps as soon as possible.

Sub.:- the
availability of reference books in school library
Sir,
With due respect and humble
submission, on behalf our class I beg to state that I am a student of class IX
( ), bearing the roll no. ...
You are aware of the fact that we
are one step away from Madhyamik Examination and so we need many books other
than text books specially reference books. But as there is lack of reference
books in the school library and every family of the students cannot afford to
buy books, we are facing a deep trouble. So in order to better our performance
in the examination as well as our future, we need the help of the school
library.
Therefore,
I request the favour of your kindly looking after the matter and taking
necessary steps to better our result.
Berhampore, yours
truly,
