a) Emperor Akbar – Emperor Akbar ruled over India and had a great love for arts, sciences, literature and music.

b) Birbal – Birbal was one of the Nine Gems of Emperor Akbar’s court as well as the most trusted minister of Akbar.

c) The garden – The garden of Emperor Akbar was lined with trees that produced the tastiest and juiciest fruits and flowers of all shapes and sizes in the whole kingdom.

Activity – 3

While roaming on the sea beach I came across a small palace and entered through a carved door. A sudden chill ran up my spine as my first step on the stairs made the torch on the wall lit and the door shut automatically. I stepped down further, enticed by a melodious music. There were many magnificent pictures carved on the wall and many well-furnished rooms looking everything tickety-boo but the thing interested me the most was the blue carbuncle on a sceptre of a sorceress’ statue which was excellent to look at. I looked thrilled after experiencing all this.
