ভূমিকা: ইংরেজিতে সরাসরি একটি Verb (ক্রিয়া) ব্যবহার না করে, আমরা অনেক সময় have, take, give, make, do, get ইত্যাদি সাধারণ Verb-এর সাথে মূল কাজের Noun form (বিশেষ্য রূপ) ব্যবহার করে থাকি। এগুলোকে Light Verbs বলে। এর ফলে বাক্য অনেক বেশি স্বাভাবিক ও সাবলীল শোনায়। নিচে বিস্তারিত উদাহরণ এবং আপনার অনুশীলনের জন্য টাস্ক দেওয়া হলো।
১. Have
খাওয়া, পান করা, বিশ্রাম নেওয়া, স্নান করা বা কথোপকথনের ক্ষেত্রে 'Have + Noun' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
